Nic and Nic chose the perfect place for their engagement session: Ward’s Island, a spot that’s become a little chapter of their love story. They bike the Island trails together all the time, so even on one of the chilliest days of the season, it felt right to be there—rosy cheeks, frozen fingers, and all.
From the moment we stepped off the ferry, these two brought all the warmth we needed. They laughed through the gusty wind, cuddled up between shots, and pointed out their favourite corners of the Island like a couple giving a tour of their second home. Even the dramatic “why is the wind like this?!” moments turned into giggles.
What stood out most was how naturally they move together—playful, steady, completely in sync. Despite the cold, the whole session felt cozy because they are. Ward’s Island may have been chilly, but Nic and Nic made it glow.
